Release notes

On this page you will find information about the most important changes in the software of the @COM Business Manager. For a full overview of all changes and bug-fixed please review the change log on our @COM Issue Tracking System.

For your convenience we have created an short overview of the major changes here. Some software releases may not be listed here if this release was not widely spread, the changes will then be mentioned in the next release.

Aanpassingen in SMR.2.279.584

  • New features:
    • Call Center agents can now enter a "Reason for Pause" upon entering the pause state.
    • Predefine which recording to playback on which special occasion in the calendar.
    • Add transcriptions to recordings being made.
    • Support for the Snom D140, D150, D862 en D865 desktop phones.
    • Block unwanted callers based on their Caller ID (Blacklist).
  • Changed functionality:
    • The use of strong passwords is now enforced via a configurable password-policy.
    • Web-Services API is renewed.
  • Improved/Fixed issues:
    • @COM Personal Call Manager.
    • @COM Bedienpost.  

Changes in SMR.2.233.521

  • New features:
    • @COM User-based licensing.
    • Full release of the @COM Operator panel.
    • User-based routing now also available in hunt groups.
    • @COM Personal Call Manager displays who a caller has spoken to earlier within the organisation.
    • Management of Departments, Call Center agents and Job Titles now also available in User management menus.
  • Changed functionality:
    • Call Center agent features in Operator Panel only available if an agent is assigned to the user.
    • Main extension can now be changed on existing users.
  • Improved/Fixed issues:
    • @COM Personal Call Manager.
    • @COM Operator Panel.
    • User management.
    • Snom phone provisioning.
    • Dial-plan.
    • Update of the @COM Connect to v3.45.412-hf9.
       

Changes in SMR.2.210.446

  • New features:
    • @COM Operator Panel (beta-release).
    • Personal Directory now available in PCM and Operator Panel.
    • Service code *88 to set mobile phone as incoming extensions (user-based routing).
    • Easier department management.
  • Changed functionality:
    • Improved Bria Contacts Export.
    • Improved User-based routing.
  • Improved/Fixed issues:
    • Several PCM issues.
    • False SMR Deadlock detection during system idle.
    • Mobile phone status not always correctly displayed
    • Unable to copy Mitel device settings.
    • Various Asterisk CLI errors and warnings.
    • Update to @COM Connect to v3.7.437-hf7.
       

Changes in SMR.2.176.382

  • New features:
    • Added debugging options for Personal Call Manager
    • Added department field in Abbreviated numbers
    • Added Call Center wall-board consistency checks
  • Changed functionality:
    • Changed Personal Call Manager GUI layouts
  • Improved/Fixed issues:
    • Improved the PCM and CDR records.
    • Fixed some minor dial plan error messages

Changes in SMR.2.165.303

  • New features:
    • none.
  • Changed functionality:
    • none.
  • Improved/Fixed issues:
    • Fixed unresponsive Presence Board and Call Center Wallboard since SMR.2.162.234.
    • Fixed error when opening Call Center Supervisor since SMR.2.162.234.
    • Fixed PCM Department selection issue.
    • Programming of BLF or Speed dial keys wasn't possible since SMR.2.162.234.
       

Changes in SMR.2.165.289

  • New features:
    • Added option for separated Call Center Wallboard per company.
  • Changed functionality:
    • Minor changes to the LMT GUI.
  • Improved/Fixed issues:
    • Many fixed for the new PCM v2.
    • Several improvement for the new VAMO v2 support.
    • Improved support for the Call Center Wallboard (AstEvent Daemon).
    • Incident involving locking of phone services ("SIP Deadlock") resolved.
       

Changes in SMR.2.162.234 & 2.146.201-beta

  • New Features:
    • Fixed-Mobile extensions.
    • New Personal Call Manager.
    • New Personal Call Manager App.
    • User based call routing.
    • Full Support for newer Snom and Mitel phones.
    • Audio and Display Language can be set per device.
    • Online LMT documentation from within the LMT.
  • Changed functionality:
    • New function key programming for Fully Supported devices.
    • The Personal Call Manager GUI has been updated.
    • Improved Forced-on-PBX (VAMO v2) support.
    • Call Transfer detection rewritten.
    • A Standard administrator can now also create multiple devices.
    • Improved support for detection of Semi-Blind transfers.
  • Improved/Fixed issues:
    • Improved performance of the Asterisk Event Daemon and Databases.
    • Could not change device license from "full-support" to "basic support".
    • Redesigned the device management
    • Databases were sometimes unreachable for Asterisk.
    • @COM Auto-update feature was not working.
    • Incorrect detection of SIP Deadlocks could occur.
       

Changes in SMR.2.87.127 (new v2 system release!)

  • New Call Center features:
    • Agent auto-pause after missed call option.
    • Agent auto-logoff at specific time option.
    • Agent is also logged off when flexwerker logs off.
    • Agents screen in the Wallboard can not automatically open.
    • Wallboard auto-zoom function can now be disabled.
    • Wallboard can now display the available agents instead of connected.
  • Extra functions for a LMT Administrator:
    • Extension-status information, like: forwarding, DND  and screen-information is now visible in the LMT.
    • Call Forwarding can now be adjusted via de LMT.
    • CLIR and DND functions can be enable/disabled in the LMT.
    • Static routes can now be edited ( instead of first removing and then recreating ).
    • It is now much easier to exchange defective devices.
    • Port number can now be defined for the SMTP relay server.
    • Better logging into log files.
  • The Robotic sounding Music-On-Hold (MoH) has been removed from the default MoH library.
  • Report can now me mailed to multiple mail-adressen instead of just one.
  • Improved features for the Mobility Extender (Fixed-Mobile).
  • Fixed issues:
    • Incorrect Caller ID on calls via Call Center queues
    • Agents could sometimes not answers call via a queue.
    • The use of a comma in an extension name could cause various problems.
    • Unable to disconnect or swap between calls using *0 in the Mobility Extender (Fixed Mobile).
    • The "via" info within a Caller ID stayed present on the next CDL destinations as well.
    • The recording server was always in the English language.l
    • The calendar mode could not be adjusted using service code *44
    • The System Monitor incorrectly reporting the PBX was not running.
