Network Architecture

@COM NetworkingThe @COM solution can be installed in many different environments due to a standardised network architecture setup. The @COM offers separate network connections one for Internet (WAN), other for Local VoIP connections (Voice LAN), and a connection to the Local computer network (LAN). Additionally a network connection can be configured for easy service and support by the reseller. Whether or not all these networks are used depends on the actual setup. nevertheless, from our own experience we can tell that it's always wise to fully separate the VoIP network from your computer network and/or Internet.

UPDATE for cloud-based solutions:
The network architecture displayed below is for on-site solutions. When using a cloud-based solution the Voice LAN en Data LAN are still on-site and are connected to the cloud using a VPN router. The @COM Business Manager itself, as well as the SIP Trunks (PSTN) and WAN connection, is all done from within the cloud.
